Marlborough Rug Company was started in 2007 by the current owner, Matthew Thomas, having worked for a number of years for a well respected Oriental Rug Importer, Retailer, Cleaner and Restorer. Our love of and specialist knowledge of rugs has been built up over many years as has our experience of cleaning and restoring oriental, handmade and machine made rugs and carpets. Learning about rugs is a life long vocation, a bit like antiques, always seeing something different and finding out about it. We love meeting people and hearing about their rugs and the stories behind them, whether they bought them whilst traveling or they have been in the family for generations. We look forward to offering you our cleaning and repair services and we hope our experience will prove invaluable to you and we will exceed your expectations with great results, value and a personal service.
